Privacy Policy

TopASVAB ("we", "us") provides ASVAB study and practice tools at topasvab.com. This policy explains what we collect and why. We sell a study product — we do not sell your personal data.

Information we collect

• Account data — your email address and, optionally, a display name and password (stored only as a salted hash).
• Study data — your practice/test results, answers, and progress, so we can show your performance over time.
• Billing data — if you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and status, but never your card number.
• Technical data — basic request information and privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to keep the service reliable.

How we use it

To operate your account, save your progress across devices, process subscriptions, send transactional email (verification, magic-link sign-in, password reset), and improve the service. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run TopASVAB: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Neon (database hosting), and Cloudflare (hosting, security, and analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Cookies

We use a single first-party, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention

We keep your account and study data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us, after which we remove your personal data except where retention is legally required.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

TopASVAB is intended for users 13 and older preparing for U.S. military enlistment. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
